Abstract
Provides pre-application consultation and engagement guidance to be followed by transmission operators when working with overline projects in Scotland requiring a section 37 consent and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). Covers: pre-application consultation with communities and stakeholders; planning and design stage 1: route assessment to identify proposed route; planning and design stage 2: design and development including EIA studies on the proposed alignment; guidance on notifications and pre-application consultation reporting; other guidance and application submission.
