Abstract
Comprises the second section of Land Contamination Risk Management (LCRM) guidance, providing details on how to assess and manage the risks from historic land contamination. Covers: technical approach to risk assessment; tier 1: preliminary risk assessment; tier 2: generic quantitative risk assessment; tier 3: detailed quantitative risk assessment; intrusive site investigation; chemical testing of soils; rapid measurement techniques; and risk assessment reporting requirements.
