Abstract
Provides guidance on the procedural aspects of carrying out a local plan examination. Covers: overview of the examination; before submission; submission; initial assessment and organisation of the hearing sessions; preparation for the hearing sessions; conduct of the hearing sessions; main modifications to the plan; the Inspector's report; quality assurance, fact-check procedure and delivery of final report to the LPA; other procedures and matters; technical seminars and meetings; formal presentation of evidence and cross-examination; pre-hearing meetings; and conduct of all parties during the examination.
