Abstract
For strengthening existing concrete and steel highway structures with fibre-reinforced polymers (FRPS) or externally bonded steel plates. Covers the basis of design, including design life, limit states, actions, structural analysis, partial factors and design verification, materials and strengthening concrete bridge decks and supports and steel structures. Considers installation, inspection and maintenance aspects.
