Abstract
Qualitative research on how non-specialists purchase and use construction products. Explores understanding of product information, confidence in choices and barriers to safe, compliant and informed use. Examines 3 construction processes, namely: planning phase, construction phase and project completion. Also covers, improving safety, knowledge, and regulation with general recommendations for further investigation.
