Abstract
Provides guidance on in-service testing (IST) for relevant products and equipment which specifically applies to domestic type gas meters and whole current electricity meters approved under the Measuring Instruments Directive (2004/22/EC or 2014/32/EU) or The Measuring Instruments Regulations (SI 2016/1153, as amended). Summarises testing procedures, record keeping and good practice to support ongoing safety, compliance and performance monitoring.
