Abstract

Provides guidance to help clients who rarely require new buildings to compile a well-structured brief. The report is limited to those features of building services engineering which relate to the internal environmental performance and comprises explanatory notes on the various parameters with recommendations for general application. In addition, supplies a detailed table giving recommended values of the parameters for a wide range of specific building types. Section headings are - thermal comfort, basic parameters, variation and asymmetry, relative humidity, indoor air quality, ventilation, filtration, noise, lighting.
