Abstract
Deals with the implementation aspects of bus priorities, describing the various measures available to give priority to bus traffic e.g. bus lanes, 'bus-only' streets, junction priorities. Also sets out the statutory procedures necessary for the implementation of these measures, and discusses the environmental and safety aspects of bus priority schemes.
