Abstract
Sets out recommendations for the health and welfare of compressed air workers. Included are procedures for compression, decompression and decanting, and requirements for air supply, working chambers, man-locks, medical locks, medical supervision, and treatment for decompression sickness. This new edition incorporates minor amendments in the recommendations and a major amendment in that the maximum exposure period in compressed air is reduced. The Blackpool Tables have been transposed so that each table refers to a given period of exposure. Appendices include guidance for Medical Advisers.
