Abstract
Design, construction, inspection, testing of cylindrical shell and plain tube heat exchangers. Shell diameters 6 in to 42 in, tube lengths 6 ft to 16 ft, tube diameters half in to 1½ in. Type 1: fixed tube-plate (non-removable tube bundle); Type 2: U-tube (removable tube bundle); Type 3: floating head (removable tube bundle).
