Abstract
Gives recommendations for the design of wall ties, including remedial ties, manufactured from materials made from one or more of the following materials: galvanized low carbon steel: plastics coated zinc coated mild steel: austenitic stainless steel wire: austenitic stainless steel strip: copper: copper alloys: injection moulded polypropylene, and intended for use in masonry and timber frame construction anywhere in the UK.
