Abstract
The use of composite cements in concrete is becoming much more common, yet at the time of printing comprehensive authoritative guidance was not available in Codes and Standards. This publication was produced after a review of information available at the time to provide a balanced account of the properties and use of these materials, so that they could be used effectively. In giving this guidance, particular attention was paid to those properties that effect practical construction and the durability of the resulting concrete in the finished structure.
