Abstract

Although this condition can, in principle at any rate, occur in any building, it is particularly prevalent in churches. This pamphlet has been written to explain to the owners of such buildings, incumbents and their architects, some of the ways in which this fault can occur, the destructive effects that it will give rise to, and, with the help of examples, to suggest some methods of repair.
