Abstract
The Part gives recommendations for maintenance, repair and structural strengthening of concrete slabs in rigid and rigid composite pavements based on current experience using methods which are tried and proven. In addition, some methods of treatment are discussed which have had little use to date, such as, Cracking and Seating of concrete pavements, Thin-bonded Concrete Overlays and Continuously Reinforced Concrete Overlays.
