Publication Year

Abstract
In some countries crushed concrete and masonry waste are successfully recycled for use as aggregates in concrete. The construction industry world-wide is now being required to exploit this resource more effectively, principally because of the environmental benefits to be gained from recycling. This paper discusses the latest developments in the use and specification of recycled aggregates. It will be of interest to all those who work with concrete and aggregates, and also to those who are concerned with recycling and environmental protection.
