Abstract
In recent years, there have been many changes with the introduction of new National European and International Standards. New light sources have been introduced and recommended lighting levels have been revised which will allow more efficient and cost-effective lighting installations. This guide leads the user through the maze of regulations, and explains the complete installation of the lighting. It covers all aspects from assessing the environment and lighting design to the selection of wiring, and the establishment of a maintenance programme.
