Abstract
The report looks at the most critical Standards for wood preservatives and for treated wood and describes the performance requirements which will be defined in relation to 5 Hazard Classes, described on the basis of the normally prevailing moisture relations and the biological agencies occurring in service. Manufacturers will make use of the CE mark, indicating that the product complies with the relevant requirements.
