Abstract
The main sections of the report give the detailed technical assessments (including non-energy aspects and problems of application) and economic assessment of the measures. The measures include thermal insulation, ventilation control and other design measures to reduce the space heating requirement in existing and new housing; methods of economising on domestic water heating; alternative domestic heating systems; controls for domestic heating; and controls for non-domestic heating and lighting.
