Abstract
Gives detailed results from a test programme carried out on seven commercial and industrial boilers with rated (i.e. full load) outputs from 111kW to 5689kW to determine the significance of a number of factors likely to affect the thermal efficiency when the boilers are operated to meet loads less than that requiring the rated output.
