Abstract
Building Study: Knottingley Depot, Knottingley, West Yorkshire. Provides accommodation for railway workers, as well offices for British Railways Board. It is an inward looking building, with a central air-conditioned atrium and with small windows on the outer walls to minimise noise and atmospheric pollution. Includes working details of an external walkway for maintenance.
