Abstract
Provides a description of the background and development of the current UK Code, sets out the general principles on which the Code is based, and examines the way in which it models the principal imposed roof loads for design. It also looks at snow loads, and concludes with a summary of the procedure used to determine design imposed roof loads for several standard geometric forms of roof.
