Abstract
Outlines measures that can be taken to reduce unwanted noise. These measures includes site planning and 'green' barriers for external noise control and insulation measures against external noise and noise within and between dwellings. Also gives recommendations for reducing impact noise through floors and advice on upgrading the sound insulation of existing concrete floors and masonry walls.
