Abstract

A simple design approach is presented to help designers and contractors overcome any restrictions on suspended slab pour areas. Provides background information on large area pours and especially early thermal cracking. It outlines how large area pours can improve both quality and productivity and is relevant to all suspended slabs up to about 1m thick.
