Abstract

A design guide on the design and application of cold formed steel sections in general building construction. The main part of the publication presents design tables for general use of cold formed sections, data being tabulated in two parts; section properties, and member design load tables. The design of sections conforms to BS 5950-5:1987 code of practice for design of cold formed sections.
