Abstract
Restoration of the 1930's Boots factory in Nottingham designed by Sir E. Owen Williams, known as building D10, required special care in the replacement of the original steel patent glazing. Particular concern was the effect of mechanical air handling systems and condensation on steel framing to curtain walling. Includes details of repair specification for main elements.
