Abstract
The bulk of this report comprises descriptions of fire safety measures and their costings for 31 example buildings. These form 7 purpose groups, subdivided to give 17 archetypes and where appropriate, common variations on them. With each archetype there is a table of fire safety measures and their costs and in most cases figures showing the building plans.
