Abstract
Investigates the environmental conditions under which Thaumasite may form in limestone-filled cements and the reaction mechanisms leading to its formation. Summarises a screening programme (using small scale mortar specimens of varying aggregate and cement combinations) designed to identify the types susceptible to Thaumasite formation.
