Abstract
Sets out the dimensional requirements for the highway cross sections for trunk roads including motorways both on open roads and at structures. It also gives requirements for headroom at structures. Emphasis has been placed on the need to consider all relevant factors before choosing berm, side slope, verge or central reserve widths.
