Intended to assist Project Sponsors, Project Managers and others involved with the design and specification of refurbished or new buildings in the UK, to determine if the provision of air conditioning or mechanical ventilation is necessary. Where air conditioning or substantial mechanical ventilation is proven to be necessary, the Guide provides guidance on the selection of an appropriate type of system, and information on the expected additional capital and running costs relative to a naturally ventilated building.
