Abstract
Refurbishment of headquarters of the Department of Trade and Industry [DTI], London, included upgrading of services, especially installation of chilled ceilings, improved lighting and trunking for cabling, creation of a 600 seat conference centre and the addition of an entrance pavilion. A PFI-style funding arrangement meant most of the cost was borne by the owners, in return for DTI taking out a new lease. Working details of a curved Planar glazed roof canopy. Architects: DEGW.
