Abstract
Briefly outlines the materials and moulding techniques used in the manufacture of glass-fibre reinforced plastics cladding panels and compares some properties of the finished panels with those of other materials. The importance of involvement of the manufacturer in design, from the sketch-plan stage onwards, is emphasised and some guidance is offered on various aspects of specification and quality control.
