Abstract
Intended to remind and inform designers and site supervisory staff of ways of avoiding some of the most troublesome defects which have beset Local Authority housing. This Defect Action Sheet covers clay-ware drainage: storage and handling. Failures discussed include leakage from drain. Defects discussed include pipes chipped or cracked by rough handling or poor supports in storage; and storage badly sited.
