Abstract
Measures the impact sound insulation between two rooms and gives procedures of determination of meeting specifications and checking for faults. Determines the receiving room equivalent absorption area and derives the normalised/standardised impact sound pressure level. The results can be used to determine whether floors have met acoustic specifications, e.g. Building Regulations.
