Abstract
Draws attention to the provisions of Parts I and III of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Areas Act 1979, which consolidates and amends the law relating to the protection of ancient monuments, and repeals the earlier legislation contained in the Acts of 1882, 1913, 1931, 1953 and 1972.
