Abstract
Shows how to install timber bracing in typical trussed rafter roofs of up to 12m span. It gives guidance on materials, and on where and how to fix the bracing normally required for dual- and mono-pitched roofs. On some roofs the normal bracing arrangements are not appropriate and in these cases it is important to follow carefully the roof designer's specification for positioning and number of braces.
