Abstract
The Water Regulations Advisory Committee (WRAC) has made recommendations that necessitate guidance for designers, installers and users of low volume flush WCs. The programme of work assesses the criteria for the optimum design, installation, commissioning and maintenance provisions for the installation and use of low-flush WCs (siphon and valve flushed), of systems used world-wide. National standards, codes of practice and other technical specifications are analysed.
