Abstract
Provides guidance for the safe application and operation of mobile cranes, tower cranes and derrick cranes. Covers general recommendations for testing, maintenance, erection and dismantling procedures and siting of cranes together with recommended requirements for drivers, slingers and signallers. Reference is also made to relevant Government regulations and attention is drawn to statutory requirements for the testing and examination of cranes.
