Abstract
Covers fire hydrant systems equipment, specifically inlet breechings for dry riser inlets. Gives requirements for 2- and 4-way inlet breechings on a dry rising water main for fire fighting; maximum overall size to ensure ready accommodation in the boxes specified in BS 5041-5; and test requirements to ensure that no valve or part of the body will leak water.
