Abstract

Identifies the importance of inspection and maintenance on buildings and reviews available inspection techniques. Discusses the survey results which include detailing of common cladding types, identifying common defect occurrences and its causes, and suggesting repair techniques and good practices to remedy and prevent future occurrences. Problems encountered in inspection works are also discussed. Reviews robotic systems architectures for autonomous navigational robots.
