Abstract
Forms a guide to the planning and design of accommodation which should be located close to the main entrance of a District General Hospital. The main changes to NHS, significant to this updated note are: the increase in the number of people who attend hospitals; the increasing need for security; and the emphasis on making opportunities for income generation.
