Abstract
The importance for architects of learning communication skills. Describes a current Higher Education Funding Council for England [HEFCE] project aimed at identifying ways of improving performance in this field. Techniques in use include exercises in communicating with 'clients' - people who cannot read drawings and who change their minds.
