Abstract
Explores the issues surrounding day surgery since the publication of HBN 52 Volume 1 in 1993. The intention is to review the appropriateness of the guidance contained in HBN 52 Volume 1 and to provide project teams with an update on issues affecting the design of day surgery units through the use of case studies.
