Building Centre Trust Case Study 4 Modelling of building services - 33 Old Broad Street
Publication Year
1999
Document Status
Current
Abstract
Intended for benefit clients, designers, construction managers, building services engineers and building services contractors. It demonstrates how the process of producing a three-dimensional integrated central project model of the structure and services of a building during the design phase can have significant benefits for co-ordination and construction. In particular it shows how 3D modelling of services has enabled a transformation in the way the organisation procures building services on certain projects. It also demonstrates good practice in the engagement of IT CAD design services sub-contractors specialists.
