Abstract

Offers guidance on the use of soil-forming materials in land reclamation and deals with both the principles and practical aspects involved. Section A provides introductory information on the nature and characteristics of soil-forming materials and (organic) amendments and identifies opportunities for their use. Section B deals with practical guidance. Section C comprises Annexes 1 and 2 which are, respectively, descriptions of individual types of soil-forming materials and amendments.
