Abstract

Builds on the philosophy of the Capital Investment Manual and other work such as the King's Fund document 'Commissioning Hospital Buildings' by examining the key elements in planning the commissioning process. The aim of this publication is to help project directors and commissioning managers to develop effective operational commissioning strategies, but the guidance it contains will also be of interest to departmental heads and others involved in the process.
