Abstract
Recommends how to meet employers’ legal duty of care in respect of the risk of scalding and burning from hot water and hot surfaces. It applies in all healthcare premises, and those premises registered under the Registered Homes Act 1984. It may. also be appropriate in non-registered premises, for example sheltered accommodation, where the occupants are equally at risk.
