Abstract
Gives a summary of the information required by non-technical personnel responsible for the management of sterilization services. It discusses the various types of sterilizer, for both clinical and laboratory use, and contains guidance on legal and policy matters, and on the appointment and responsibilities of personnel.
Document History
The Department of Health's HTM 01 series will supersede all parts of NHS Estates' HTMs 2010, 2030 and 2031. While parts of HTM 01 are to be released, these older documents will remain on the service. Superseded by CFPP 01-01 Parts B, C, D and E.
