Abstract
Gives details of the requirements for ensuring that manufactured equipment is formally tested and certified as to contract and manufactured to the highest level of quality assurance. The importance of commissioning is emphasised and the order of tests on site is listed. Routine testing, which is a subset of these commissioning tests, is also reviewed.
