Publication Year

Abstract
Intended for small firms, particularly quantity-surveying practices. For small firms, it demonstrates the value of senior management support and involvement in IT developments; for quantity surveyors, it demonstrates how the integration of software packages can transform traditional processes and working relationships to the mutual advantage of the firm and its clients. This case study also demonstrates to software developers the value of nurturing an active user group to create direct feedback from their market and to maintain customer loyalty.
