Abstract
Aimed at organisations in all construction disciplines that are seeking to make the most of their knowledge base. It shows how incremental investment in the information technology (IT) infrastructure has ensured that the practice is able to bid successfully for work and carry out the designers’ duties on simple and complex projects. The practice has taken the infrastructure one stage further to integrate administrative procedures so that project management is more effective and staff are more efficient in carrying out their duties.
